Yes, I’m aware that it is now June.

Please forgive me for posting this after Mental Health Awareness month has passed.

Wait, every month should be Mental Health Awareness month, so technically I’m not late.

This is an important topic to discuss because I  still think people take mental health lightly. I promise I am not being biased when I  say this, but mental health is just as important as your physical health.

This is a clip from a news interview that I did with The Delta News, which is located in my hometown in Mississippi. We discussed the importance of mental health, knowing when to seek help, treating therapy as a form of self-care, what to expect during an intake session, and so much more. Please give me a few minutes of your time and watch this clip.

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health.

I’ll be back later this week with my usual content. It is Men’s Mental Health Month, so I want to honor that. Ladies, don’t worry, you can come back too.

Until next time,

Dr. E
